Established in 1885, Turnbull & Asser was founded by Reginald Turnbull and Ernest Asser when they opened their first shop in St. James’s under the name of “John Arthur Turnbull”.

After a continued success, in 1903 they moved to their current location in Jermyn Street. In over 130 years of history they have dressed politicians, actors and style icons – from Sir Winston Churchill and James Bond to Charles Prince of Wales. Since 1980 they have proudly held the Royal Warrant granted by HRH the Prince of Wales, making Turnbull & Asser the first company to receive this accolade.

Turnbull & Asser have kindly created a once in a lifetime experience for Total Management clients. The opportunity – to attend a shirt fitting to create three bespoke shirts, at the renowned Turnbull & Asser store.

Upon arrival, Turnbull & Asser’s dedicated team will take 18 measurements, all whilst taking into account other details such as your posture and any specific requirements you have. You have the opportunity to be the designer, choosing from over 1000 fabrics, 25 collar and cuff options and 20 monogram styles.

After taking down your choices, a paper pattern of your shirt is created from your precise measurements and sent to Turnbull & Asser’s Gloucester workshop. Once a digital version is created, expert seamstresses will cut your chosen fabric by hand and finally sewing machines will bring the shirt together.

To create ultimate precision and to ensure your shirt is perfect, you will be asked to wear and wash your shirt three times. It will then be adjusted to create a perfect fit. Along with this, you will also receive Turnbull & Asser’s book ‘Turnbull & Asser: Made in England, 130 years’.
