Terme Manzi Hotel and Spa
Nestled in the heart of Ischia, Terme Manzi Hotel and Spa by Relais and Chateaux offers a truly magical escape, combining modern luxuries with over 150 years of tradition.
In 1863, Luigi Manzi discovered the healing properties of the Gurgitello Springs, and built a thermal spa to take advantage of the healing properties. Noblemen, academics, and poets have since frequented Terme Manzi to benefit from the therapeutic effects. More recently, Terme Manzi has been renovated and restructured with care and passion by architect Cesar Longo, continuing to offer the age old traditional properties of the natural thermal waters, but using light and design to create a truly elegant and tranquil paradise.
Set in the Bay of Naples and just a short boat trip from Naples port, the island of Ischia is unlike any other place due to its divisibility. Each day can be lived differently, from having treatments and relaxing in the thermal spa, sunbathing by the rooftop pool, spending a day in the crystal clear sea at the beach, or exploring the shops, restaurants, and bars in several small harbour towns. There is an abundance of culture too: the innermost areas of the island hide rural villages and rustic farms set amongst ancient forests. Hire electric bikes to effortlessly tour the island and reach the inland heights that offer some simply awe inspiring views of the coast.
Represented in the design of Terme Manzi are the many different dominant cultures of Ischia throughout the ages, which alongside the elegance and beauty of the architecture provide a feeling of timelessness and ultimate relaxation.
