Geranium

Situated on the 8th floor of the National Football Stadium in Copenhagen with panoramic views over the Fælledparken, in the center of Copenhagen, from where you can enjoy the city’s green copper roofs and see the windmills of Oeresund, the location  of this eco-conscious venue emphasises Geranium’s vision of gastronomic diversity exploring the tension between the urban and the natural.
With the aim of restoring, challenging and enriching the senses, head chef Rasmus Kofoed rolls out a melting pot of dishes highlighting the complex balance between nature and urbanity. Their creativity, clarity and the thoughtfulness of their dishes make them highly deserving of the 3 Michelin Star rating which they received earlier this year.  In addition to Geranium becoming the first Danish restaurant with 3 Michelin Stars, beating Noma, Kofoed also won gold in the prestigious worldwide cookery competition Bocuse d’Or in 2011.

Think French cuisine with a distinct Danish touch – smoked potatoes, mussels, monkfish, local herbs. As confirmed by its recent accolade and the outpouring of positive reviews, it’s new Nordic cuisine at its best.
