Christmas Party Venues: Festive Favourites for 2018
Playing host to many prominent figures in literature, art and science over the years, the Arts Club is an exclusive private members club located on Mayfair’s Dover Street. The club’s elegant interiors offer up a range of Christmas-friendly event spaces, from the bright, first-floor dining rooms to the glamorous underground club Leo’s.
Another new 2018 opening, this speakeasy-style club is nestled under Windmill Street in Soho. Named after the prominent 40s and 50s boxer Jack Solomons, the joint oozes old school glamour. Think live jazz music and delicious cocktails for your Christmas get together.
The Bloomsbury Club Bar
One of our favourite spots in London, The Bloomsbury Club Bar harks back to the artists and intelligentsia of Edwardian society. The rich interior décor, plush furnishings and dark wood provides an elegant after-dark venue for any event. Guests can also enjoy the heated, covered terrace, adorned with twinkle lights and foliage.
Mr Fogg’s Residence
Eclectic, whimsical, and inspired by the travels of Victorian explorer Phileas J Fogg, Mr Fogg’s Residence is the ideal spot to host a Christmas party with a difference. Up to 150 people can drink and dine under the ceiling-strung penny-farthings, or for smaller groups there is a covered terrace.
44 Berkeley Square
Taking over the long-time home of Annabel’s (which has moved one door down to 46 Berkeley Square), new opening 44 Berkeley Square offers a glamorous exclusive-hire event space at this iconic address. In addition to the venue’s Secret Bar, Buddha Room and twinkling dance floor, optional add-ons include photobooths and for the festive season, and a vin chaud chalet on the terrace.
