Chalet Dreamin’
Catered chalets with sophisticated amenities have upped their game. As the snow falls across Europe and the ski season well and truly begins, we explore some of the classic and lesser known locations, where beautifully renovated and architecturally crafted properties are standing out from the rest. Whether you are looking for ultimate luxury, proximity to the nearest ski runs or, just simple and authentic experiences within a beautiful setting, The AWAY Collection’s Ski & Snow portfolio brings you a snap shot of some of Europe’s most enchanting properties. From a unique and beautifully restored chalet in the small South Tyrolean village of Pliscia where guests experience real ‘slow living’, to finding ultimate luxury in Verbier, there is a chalet for every taste and skiing proficiency.
The quiet hamlet of Pliscia is perched at an altitude of 1200m, nestled into the stunning Dolomite Mountains. Made up of twenty three inhabitants, four farmhouses and one church, Pliscia offers seclusion and privacy that not many other locations can boast. Surrounded by nature – from the panoramic mountain views, to the roaming deer, to the fresh milk which can be collected from the local farmer – this truly idyllic and peaceful hamlet embodies ‘slow living’ and offers a unique break from urban life.
